Upcoming TCC Closings:
Dearest Trinity Children's Center Families & Fellow Community Members,
Effective immediately, Trinity Children's Center will remain closed at least through April 6th in response to Governor Scott's latest directive.
Some public schools will remain open on Monday and Tuesday, but attendance is optional and they will be using this time to allow for an "orderly closing". With that said, Trinity Children's Center and our amazing community of faculty and families was able to prepare for this ahead of time on Friday afternoon. All belongings were sent home with families and faculty, perishable food was given to families, and the facility was prepared for no one to re-enter for an extended period of time. As a result of this incredible effort, we are able to rest assured that we have no reason to subject your children and families, as well as our faculty, to any potential virus contamination for these two optional days.
In an environment such as a preschool, it is not realistic to expect that we could maintain a 6 foot distance and properly care for your children. We are not in the business of distancing - we are in the business of hugs, co-regulation, sharing, and physical proximity to ensure active supervision. I am grateful for Governor Scott's decision on behalf of Vermont children and families, as well as for our Trinity Children's Center community. Thank you all for your support and understanding throughout this process.
